Frequently Asked Questions
Are Freshie soap environmental friendly?
In the Freshie Soap products, we avoid in using:
X Chemical
No SLS, No SLES, Paraben and Phthalate Free, As our products are 100% natural. We do not include any artificial fragrances. Instead, we use 100% pure and natural essential oils that are free from pesticide and chemical.
X Chemical Colorount
Our natural colors derived from food juices and puree, botanical plants, minerals, and other organic sources. Freshie Soap is committed to use natural colors because of their properties to our skin such as nutrient antioxidants, natural moisturizer, natural exfoliant, and etc that can nourish your skin.Avoiding synthetic micas and artificial dyes, not only reducing the risk of irritation and allergic reactions to protect our skin but also embracing the beauty of nature, protect them by minimizing the environmental impact.
X Palm Oil
While palm oil is cost-effective and provides a good combination of oils in soap making, the production of palm oil can harm and destroy rainforest habitats. Therefore, We are committed in reducing usage of palm oil by excluding it from our products.
X Animal Fats
Consider this scenario: if we require 1L of tallow oil, it might be sourced from one cow. However, what if we need 50L of tallow oil? The demand for animal fats is on the rise due to the growing global population, particularly in the production of dairy products. When considering planetary health, research indicates that the production of animal fats has a more significant negative impact than plant-based fats. Taking this into account, we have chosen to exclude animal fats from our products.
X Micro Plastic
Microplastics are tiny pieces and particles of plastic measuring less than 5 mm in diameter. While it is commonly believed that microplastics cannot penetrate the skin barrier, they can still pose a risk by settling on the skin, increasing exposure. Studies shows that the application of consumer goods containing microplastics, such as face cream and facial cleanser, raises the exposure risk to PE (polyethylene). Instead, we use natural exfoliation.
X Preservatives
Spoilage happens when tiny organisms like bacteria, mold, and yeast spoil the product. You can tell something has spoiled if it smells bad or changes color. For these signs to show up and cause problems, these tiny organisms, called microbes, need to live and grow. In the process of making soap, it has a high pH, creating an environment that is tough for microbes to live in, making it even more challenging for them to survive. Additionally, Microbes need water to survive, and even though soap is made with a lot of water, most of it evaporates during the drying process. This leaves very little water in fully cured soap, making it hard for microbes to survive and cause issues. Therefore, there is no need of paraben usage.

If you didn't use any SLS and SLES, why are there so many bubbles in your product?
Freshie soap bubble's is a result of the combination of oils and food we use. We purposefully incorporate a wide range of natural ingredients to craft a single bar that not only cleans but also produces a delightful foam, enhancing our customers' enjoyment of our products.
I’m new to using handmade natural soap. Which soap would you recommend for beginners?
We recommend starting with our Sea Coco Soap, carefully crafted with a blend of nourishing oils and enriched with coconut milk to deliver a rich, creamy lather and a luxurious bubbly experience.
Finely added sesame seeds provide gentle exfoliation, offering a smooth texture that makes it an excellent choice for beginners.
It’s important to note that natural soaps, made purely from oils, tend to produce less lather compared to commercial liquid soaps, which often contain SLS or SLSA – synthetic foaming agents that boost bubbles.
Some beginners may find this difference unfamiliar or less satisfying. That’s why Sea Coco is our top pick—it delivers a bubbly, creamy lather similar to what you may be accustomed to, ensuring a smooth transition to natural soap while still giving you that rich, satisfying cleanse.
